Istanbul University Earns Full Accreditation by the Council of Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK)
Istanbul University was granted the right to receive the Full Accreditation Certificate by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) after successfully completing the 'Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP)' processes.
As a result of the preliminary field visit by THEQC Evaluation Team on December 5, 2023, and the field visits carried out between December 24-27, 2023, Istanbul University succeeded in obtaining a Full Accreditation Certificate covering 5 years, in line with the information, documents, and reports examined.
At the 2024 THEQC - International Quality Assurance and Accreditation Conference organized by THEQC, a certificate presentation ceremony was held for the universities entitled to receive the Institutional Accreditation Certificate. Council of Higher Education President Prof. Dr. Erol ÖZVAR and THEQC President Prof. Dr. Ümit KOCABIÇAK presented Istanbul University's Full Accreditation Certificate to our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gülsüm AK.
